Since I have a CNC sitting in my little workshop I was thinking about making some 2.5-D Keyfobs or receiver hitch plugs with a Giant Pumpkin and maybe the growers PB weight under it. The 2.5-D would be like a pumpkin cut in half and stuck in the hitch or on the keyfob. Just been thinking about it some. If you would get one what would you be willing to pay for a Fob or Receiver plug? Rick

Forgot to put that depending on the material I used to make them out of they would be dyed, anodized, powdercoated or painted for realism.

Rick, for some of us non (or un) informed folks...could you explain what 2.5-D means...keyfob, or anything else. What I don't understand is what 2.5-D is. Sounds like something very neat!!! Thanks for offering yer skills to bring something new to the giant punkin growin family!!! Peace, Wayne

2-D would be like an engraving, 3-D would be like an actual pumpkin all the way around. 2.5-D has the features, ribs for instance as the 3-D excepts it isnt complete all the way around. An example on a keyfob would be shrink (hard to imagine)your 1200 pounder to a 1" circumference, it is now still 3 dimensional. Cut it in half, now its 2 dimensional. Place a hole in the upper stem area (rotten spot?) to add the key ring, a little color and there it is. I hope that is a little easier, I wasent thinking fully when I done the 2.5-D that it was a machinist term. Sorry bout that. Rick

Hey Rick, That would be pretty cool...Could you prototype one and post a picture? I think it would be something I would buy? I think the hitch receiver Idea is pretty cool too!

I think a receiver hitch plug would be cool, depending on how it looks and price.

Put me down for a Receiver Hitch Plug that sounds sweet. I have been thinking about getting a plug and something unique like that would be nice.

If I put my 1200 lb pumpkin in my pocket my pants would fall down. I like the idea and might be interested in the key fob after I set a new personal best this fall. Can it also double as a bottle opener?
