Hi, I am looking for used growing lights, and other gardening pumpkin/seed starting growing supplies.

But I can't afford too much. If you have stuff you havent used in yrs and its collecting dust. PLEASE give me an email. Free is prefered, I will pay for shipping. Just very limited on funds for growing next yr.

you can go to home depot and pick up a couple of strip lights.they are like 10.00 bucks each.with the lamps it will cost you 20.00.or you could try craigslist..

yes with the home depot shop lights w/cool white bulbs.. there 4ft 2 bulbes your only keeping them there for a week ..i use the same setup for my tomato plants

ccw seeing you have time try this. Purchase a snap light aluminum shade and a 23watt fluorescent bulb and hang it about 5 inches over the pot and see how it all works. Knowing your in a cool climate when you move the seedling outside purchase a heat light and install it in the light shade and hang it in your cold frame to keep from freezing. The next step is to use a thermostat set at 50 to control the light out side. You only need one thermostat to control all hoops.
