The Best Mycorrhiza out there~! Mycorrhiza is a beneficial fungus that colonizes the roots, it transports moisture and nutrients to the roots through a complex network of threadlike filaments called hyphae. Mycorrhizal hyphae can provide nutrients up to 50 times more efficiently than naked roots. Mycorrhizal fungi also assist plants balance their supply of nutrients so that optimum growth can occur. I don't know how well it works, I do what don young tells me to do and he speaks very highly of the product. I must have been thinking of the composting message board earlier.
Thanks

This is all good stuff, 2 year expiration date, good until 2012, this is simply a sale that ends Jan 1st. We recommend approx 3 lbs or more per plant. To answer all of the email.. No I am not trying to get rid of old stock, No, this isnt the normal price,it is a sale price, we purchased it at a discount, we sell it at a discount. Unfortunately I cannot warehouse product purchased now until spring. Can we ship safely during the winter - I am told by the manufacturer that unless it suffers a deep freeze it will be fine. Thanks, Tom

HHG, from what I have learned over the years..there are two types of Myco...endo & ecto!!! endo is for all of the stuff that we try & grow giants...so called soft root type of plants!!! Ecto is for hard root plants...trees, like nuts & fruits!!! That being said...with limited knowledge, I will be addin Toms product w/ my new World Record LOpe plant in the spring!!! LOL Peace, Wayne

IT will work on melons, wayne is correct insaying there are two types, The two groups are differentiated by the fact that the hyphae of ectomycorrhizal fungi do not penetrate individual cells within the root, while the hyphae of endomycorrhizal fungi penetrate the cell wall. As far as shipping, you can visit our store and enter your order and shipping info and calculate your shipping without going all the way through the transaction.
