lol ,,,nooooo!!! its pride times desire times effort times dollars invested times shipping times buyers income.
if it is to fool others that you grew it ,,,,and profit from it,,,i think fraud is fraud. and big money fraud is a federal crime.
if it to show off the the seed should be taken out and retained if possible.to a seed bank or to kids ,,etc.... god knows how hard everyone worked that grew this year!! price that?

Being able to grow your own is priceless..These people that want to buy them normally shy away when you want a dollar a pound. They don't realise you still are making no money on it.

My local fair folks ask why I don't enter their competition. Their entry fee is $5.00. The first place which I could surely win is $50.00. Damn that's exciting. duh Guess I am a poor sport. :)

So, were you able to purchase a pumpkin? What is the going rate for a giant pumpkin? Is there even a market to base a price on? I've never seen one for sale.
