Sounds like your PH is optimal but if my understanding is correct the addition of calcium also raises PH. True?

There has been previous discussion on the boards about forms of calcium to use on your plants. I till in calcium nitrate in the spring and then spray during the season with either a Nutri-Cal (cal-nitrate drived liquid) or a calcium carbonate derived liquid like Biomin.

ive seen liquid gypson for sale in a quart bottle and it says it works in a week opposed to the pellets taking a while and the quart is equivalent to 200lbs of gypsom in liquid form. it might be worth a try

I seen that stuff the other day. I thought it said it would cover approx a 1000 sq ft of garden.

128 oz bottle is equal to 800lbs of dry gypsum. Including shipping to CA. the price is less than half of dry gypsum at $5 a bag and looks a lot easer to apply. I wish someone who has used this product or knows more about it would chime in.

Remember, this is the equivalent of the SOLUBLE CA in 4 -200 bags of powder. Not much is soluble in the powder I don't think but breaks down over time. So the comparison is intentionally misleading in my opinion.
