I know my phos levels are too high, but what will it affect? Is there much I can do to bring it down? I have had pollination problems, could any of these high levels be causeing this and if so what should I do to help it.
The only recs I got were to add some sulphur to bring ph down a little. Is there any reason I CAN'T apply this and SYMBEX at the same time?

It woud be nice to raise the Calcium (gypsum) but the P is what it is. I wouldn't bother with the sulfur. 7.2 is fine.

Not knowing your actual soil type Ralph,but guessing it's fairly heavy.

I agree with Steve,not much to do about that P for now,
gypsum adds to the calcium to better blance your soil and it will also give you some of that sulpher.

Pelletized gypsum averages 21% Ca and 16% Sulpher,,,20 lbs/1k sq ft now,,,add again in midseason. The stuff perculates through the soil structure fast with every rain or watering.

Do you see major problems with the high P & K levels or is that something I will not know unless I do some leaf tissue samples during the growing season.

And actually Dan, this soil is lighter, mostly black sand.

Hi, Ralph. Matthew Isom here. Wow, and I was starting to worry about my measly little P level of 105! ("very high" according to John Taberna at Western Labs)
I thought that it would be interesting to compare your soil, which produced the 1200 Trumm seed, and my soil, which grew a 1038 pounder from that seed:

Oganic matter 4.6% / 7.4 (but was about 5 last year)

Manganese 33 /2--these are some areas I need to work on. Any suggestions on products/chemicals to try for Mn, Cu, Fe, Zn, and Boron? And what the heck is "reclamation iron"? The recommendations on my soil report call for 4.8 ounces of "plant food iron" and 5 pounds of "reclamation iron."

One final question: what caused your phosphorus levels to get so high?--dairy manure?
