Just wondering how much & how far out from stump are some of you putting it ( at starting time) & are you mixing it down to what depth ? thanks in advanced !!

Fissssh, no pro here, but from what I have read...all myco needs to come in contact with the roots to work. It grows on the roots. I use a little in the germination pot. Then I add a little more when transplanting into the patch. This stuff is pricey, but have read that some folks....put some in at each leaf node when burying their vines!!! Hope this helps!!! Ronny added more mycorrhizal inoculant all summer as he buried nodes & vines when he grew the 1502. That's good enough for me!

Initially the main planting mound should all get "some" but we don't know how long the spores will wait for roots to find them. In theory, once the roots are inoculated the additional growth will all be affected. Lab results generally support this theory. However the mycorrhyzae doesn't translocate through the vines. So new roots at nodes logically will need to be inoculated separately.

I applied some fungi to each tap root (top and bottom) as the vines ran. I just lightly touched the root tip with the mycorrhizae and gently buried the vines there. I don't know if my technique was effective but, it's gotta help. Even if I don't get a 1502, it's worth it.

Holland uses 2lbs per plant, including tap roots. you cant use too much, i mean it wont hurt your plant, it will be wasteful the spores will survive in your patch year after year, not all of them but some
