Anyone ever used duck poop from a commercial duck farm? Wondered if anyone had tried this and if anyone had analysis done on duck manure. I have my I on a farm with lots of it piled up out back thought I might be able to con them into letting me take a pickup truck load.

Poultry manure is very high in N & salts. Ducks eat a different diet so...Compost it when in doubt.

I raised ducks and geese for years and the composted manure is very good stuff

EndlessTrail:
I pulled the plug on the patch for this year :(

My biggest one got to be about 200 lbs and the other about 125. I got spider mites on the plant very bad and the plant began to crach, but that didnt really matter because the pumpkins had already matured. After the plant crashed my fruit were exposed and began to rot out! So I pulled the plug and I am already begining preparations for next year. I am going to get some worm castings, compost and poultry maure to put on the patch real soon. Then I am going to plant a cover crop. Here's to 2010! As long as I continue to learn and get better that's all I can ask.
