I posted this on the general discussion board, but I thought this board might be more appropriate: I usually plant buckwheat outside of my planting area and then till it in right before it blooms. I'm considering just cutting it and letting it lie in place as a mulch this year. Due to root disease problems, I'm not going to cover the vines and just mound the soil at the leaf nodes. Any thoughts?
