Copying this over from the fertilizer section, was getting no attention there: Trying to find an economical way to introduce mycorrhizia to my plants root systems. Found this product at supremegrowers.com, but can't find any reference to folks who may have used it for pumpkins. Appreciate any info.

michael,i did a test on 6 seedlings this year, and the winner was myco blast, tested it with pumpkin pro and mycos, the myco blast seems to be a neat new product, i guess with more testing from other growers (that know what there doing) we will know a lot more about this stuff, i like the idea of being able to foliar spray it on, or soil drench, like with any new product it has to be tested more.. and the soil blast sounds good also but i have not tried it yet.

Michael, thats great news regarding your testing. I am not surprised honestly. I am running 18 acres of bamboo so I have been looking for concentrated lab produced guaranteed products and I got em. Anyway here is something that people are missing. Mycorrhizae is a fungus (think toenail fungus) so it grows as fast as new roots can. The point is that if you inoculate early when the plants are still small you can get a lot of spores and colonies started in a small area. Basically the roots will be fully inoculated, then as new roots grow the mycorrhizae is already present and grows with the roots. I honestly think what peoples plants are responding to is the soil BACTERIA that most blends include. I separated the 2 into soil blast and myco blast because trichoderma and some soil bacteria will feed on the mycorrhizae on the shelf:( I would really appreciate your HONEST opinion on The Soil Blast. contact me and i will get some for your tests. Guys I have been working with a Myco, Soil Blast,Kelp vegetative cycle that just grows massive leaves & roots with the most perfect color. But remember its my company lol. grow big or go home
