hi all! im looking for help on my soil test. it would be appreaciated if you could give me input on how much stuff to to amend my soil with.by stuff i mean blood meal, bone meal, kelp meal, ect. also it would help if amendments didnt include chemicals. thx

organic matter rating: 6.2. organic matter ENR lbs/A 154. phosphorous1 ( weak bray) 81 ppm. nahco3-p 97 ppm. potash 484 ppm. mg, 530 ppm. ca,3206 ppm. na, 157 ppm. ph 6.7. cec, 23.3. persent caution saturation, k5.3. mg, 18.7. va, 68.6. h, 4.5. na,2.9. sulfer, 110 ppm.

Howdy Ashton cation exchange capacity (cec) is your soil's ability to retain cations or positively charged nutrients like potassium magnesium calcium ect. Generally a high cec is better as your soil will hold more nutrients. Organic matter will keep cec high. at 23% yours is good. Bro your soil looks loaded to me I wouldn't add anything. Just fish and kelp meal come planting time. Concentrate more on keeping soil balanced rather than adding more stuff. john

Someone else correct me if I am wrong but ashton you are very close on soil just looking right off, only thing I could be get your cation saturation of Mg:K to 2:1...basically just a small amount more K.
Same for calcium raise it about 2 percent to get it into the 70% range

Do your Research before adding anything else, emailing someone like tom privitera from extremepumpkinstore would benifit you strongly as someone like that can tell you what to add and how much. Email a detailed picture to him of your soil report he is very helpful

I like my organic matter a bit higher than yours but the problem is unless you test your compost/manure you risk unbalancing your soil. You definitley dont need anymore magnesium. I'd throw in a little manure to feed the worms and a little calcium carbonate. Some k will balance things up as spence mentioned.
