I know it's a long shot, but due to my difficult first season with melons I'd love to know if there are any kin or melon growers in FL and learn a few things area specific. I'm in central FL so the closer climate the better. KeithLBPI@gmail.com

I am originally from Jacksonville. While I never grew any pumpkins while living there I think it could be done but you would have to do a lot of planning ahead like watching monthly temps and basing each aspect from germination to planting by those factors. Maybe start indoors in January and go from there. You know fast it gets hot down there so there would be a real short grow period. It would all be based on that info.
