Yesterday was "harvest time" for my pumpkin on my 584.2Frei03 plant. You can see its "last" pictures in my diary. Its final weight (certified scale) was 320,7kg (707lbs.) - so its "name" is "707Frei05(dmg)".

Wow! Growing such a monster that early from your own seed going over 700 with that weather. This is more than amazing. Congratulation, my hat is certainly off and also sorry for that split. Peter I`ve just checked where you live and it is not that far away from me. If it was alright for you I really would like to visit you somewhen in then future for a patch tour. I`ve had times in the recent years when I was in Memmingen twice a week, and from Memmingen it seems it is not that far anymore.

Thanks a lot for your "congrats". I`ll try it again to post the last two pics of my 584.2 in my diary, because I did it already yesterday, but I can`t find them...?!
"Steel" what are you doing in Memmingen? - It`s only half an hour by car from Memmingen to my patch (Kirchheim).
I wish you all "no splits" and many, many "lbs." until the end of the season.

Peter,

To be correct I drove even further than Memmingen, Bad Grönebach to be correct. I know some people there. I`ve even been twice in Ulm in the evening just to have one beer and drive home back again ;-) Things that were easy to do for a student, even during the week. Unfortunately that times are gone ;-(

:-( My 584.2 Frei is only just over 200 pounds. And, on Friday it got hit with hail! But, it still has all of September to grow before the weigh-off. And, I'm new at this. So, I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I recently posted some photos too that haven't shown up yet. I guess the guys runnning the site are away. I haven't seen anybody else's photos for a while.

Peter, eine große Leistung in diesem Jahr. Respekt!
