According to my moon calendar (dates for fruit bearing plants) April 19th and April 20th should be ideal. Started April 20th last year and had good luck so will do the same this year.

Martin you know I dont believe in that moon stuff, as we physicists know that the force of the moon to the little seedling is =0. lol
Also I think April 20th is too early, because it could built root bound to keep the plant almost 4 weeks inside. And I have to prevent nightfrost til May 20th.
I'll plant main group at April 26th and backups a week later.

Sophie, I'm planting mine indoors on April 23rd and outside in hoophouses on May 6 if all goes well. Chance of frost here is a bit less than in the other inland countries.

Probably April 12th here. Good chance to see them germinating at Eastern (good Omen LOL).
Using the big pots as usual, I´ll never put something in the soil again younger than 2 weeks.
