It's my experience too that the 917 is an easy germinator.
Don't know if it means anything, but Harry Poels grew an 800lbs out of it last season, so...

10 seedlings are there now, yesterday full sunny day, today it seems the same, only temperature stays below 10 degrees,
but thursday prediction is 24... Lets go!
