All European continent has good weather now except parts of France and Alps?
I have seen some very early stuff from America and Sweden.
Here without heating so far 4th leaves are apearing.
Few photo's from the Germanic area yet. Too bussy? Or not yet ready?
I am eager to see some results from you so far.

Hi Theo. Have got plants in the ground in Wales. I live by a town called Chester but over the border in Wales, on approximately the same latitude as you 53 degrees. No frost forecast for the next 5 nights, hoping to get some early roots down. Best wishes for the season. John

Hi theo, the contest can begin. Two of my seedlings are out already, 1173 Macari and 471 Beachy*. Looking forward to transplant 1233 and maybe 897 (still young, no true leaves yet) today after work. I`m not very happy with the results of my patch prep. Have had problems with tiller, then the rather fresh manure was hard to till in. Will try nevertheless. Good luck to you theo!

Theo, I do not like this vast amount of pics with only two cots on. Now since my plants 14 days old I got some new pics. I'm pleased so far.

Yesterday a 1114 Frantz05 germinated, the last potential prommising seed, white pumpkin, but why not have a try!

Hoping for more obsessed growers results. ;-)

Weather conditions are getting her more like Wales, but the greenhouse is ready!

The competition plants are out here now, in plastic cold frame houses though. 1173 Macari, 1233 Reiss, 897 Davies and 471 Beachy*. Another squash to be transplanted to a smaller area, the 848* MacKenzie, which did survive eventually and is ready to be set out. The fun can begin.

Here the greenhouse surfived the first day with strong wind.
Friday it might be worse, weather expectations are bad.
My construction wil may be have its real 'baptism of fire'!
