Our pumpkin show on Ameland willmost probably be at monday October 9th, just after Asten (8th)and Duisburg (7th). Results surely come, data a photo's! The Dutch 2006 pumpkin record holders are going very close here, as far as I know and without split still.... But no old national record breaking it seems?
My squash is gettig behind, growth is reducing dramatic through the bad weather, but some 15 kg more in september might get me more sure a 300+kg monster. I am still full of hope for that last goal, after breaking PB and getting national squash record breaking with may be more than 60kg. Very happy! :-)

I very much doubt that the biggest and heaviest Pumpkins and/or Squash to come from UK Growers will be at the Giant Veg Show this weekend. The end of September and early to late October will reveal the cntenders and i just hope that we get to see them posted on this Website.

It's going to be a squash year. Looks like the European, Belgian, Dutch and English records are going to fall if no splits occur.
Keep 'm going.
