Jos Ghaye of Belgium is the new European champion.

His 998 Pukos weighed in at 1297 lbs (588.4kg), to beat my 1256 Wursten.

He finished 1st, 2nd and 4th at the Belgian national championship.

His second place fruit off of the 1502 Wallace weighed 1173.5 - currently 6th place in Europe.

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations for three great pumkins. I ve read about the stem split on the 1297 and wondered if it holds together until weigh-off. Sleepless nights for the grower I think. Well done !!
