DO you have any female flowers on your plants ? How big are the plants ?
Mine is 3m long with 2 secondaries and next 2 appearing. NO female flowers yet.
I am using some water soluble 16-16-16 fertilizer.
Main vine gains 4-8 cm a day.

Hi Pumpkin_lover,
I had female blossoms on my 940Mombert, my 709.9Frei and my 1056Dueck, but I didn`t pollinate them. The main vines of my pumpkins grow around 8-10cm a day.

i pollinated this morning at 8 ft will probably pollinate 3 more this week i hope i had to cut a few females off today just in the wrong place on the vine i hated doing it but you gotta do what you gotta do!!!

I´m waiting for females around 10 feet on the main. Just spotted 1 so far. I had some before but cut them off following the advice of other growers.

Sweden

Probably will the first flower come tomorrow on my 1000ouw.It´s about 4,5 meter out on the main. Hopefully there will soon be a male on my Bobier 996. That plant is now 5,5 meter but still no female. Main vine gains now 25 cm a day.

Ok.. I finaly have my first female (very small now). It is now at 3,4m (aprox.) from the stump. It may be my (big) pumpkin for thsi year... we will see

After breaking the tip off my 419 Pukos I'm waiting for the secondaries to reach ten feet before pollinating anything.

790 Daletas has females about to open but the main is not long enough either.

582 Hester will be pollinated tomorrow with 5 males and I hope that one will take.
