Next year, I'd like to grow a big "Show King" type squash for our local county fair. If you have 5 seeds from a 500 lb'er or larger, I'll trade you 5 seeds from this years Augusta Co (VA) Fair champion pumpkin (my cross between a 566 Caron and an AG), AND I'll throw in 5 seeds from the same Fair's longest cucumber - my nice 32-inch Armenian yard-long Cuc.

Hey, Keith - funny story on the Fair winner -- we couldn't get the big one in the truck, so we took its little cousin - and it won 1st place! The winner was an AG that I hand pollinated with your 566 Caron (male blossem). The "big one" is a female 566 that I HP'ed with an AG on July 11th, and it grew better than all the rest - until yesterday. The vines all look dead - I'll send you a photo this weekend. We had a lousy growing season all summer, but I'm real pleased for the results of my first year. Cuc seeds are yours - answer my email with your address. Actually that Cuc tastes pretty good if you cut it when it's between 15 and 18 inches - reminds me of a musk melon. Gotta go - email you this weekend. Thanks for all your help!

BIG SEEDS?WHAT IS BIG ARE OUR SEEDS BIG? THEY AVERAGE 1 1/4 INCH LONG 1/2 WIDE AND 3/16 THICK. LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE SOME. WOULD BE WILLING TO TRADE OUR JUST SEND YOU SOME.
GOING TO GROW THIS SEED NEXT YEAR AND WOULD LIKE TO CROSS IT. NOT SURE WITH WHAT BUT IF YOU THINK YOUR'S MAYBE A GOOD CROSS LET'S TRY.
