Searched and cannot find any records for green squash for Colorado....Does this mean if I bring a 10 lb er GPC weighoff I have the state record? Seems odd

I believe Pete Glasier holds the record for the biggest squash in colo. He lived here and grew here for years. I do not know what the weight was though and do not know if it was officially recorded. I would have to contact Pete to find out.. I have one here growing that is over 100 pounds now and growing fast, although the plant is only experimental at 50 square ft.and hail beaten badly total plant, not really a competition plant just a genetics plant for seeds....JK

Thanks James,
Next year we want to try and grow a few greenies to see how they grow. We have one going and it is odd to see a green orb out in the patch, it wont big very big for this year though. We are also trying to determine if Mr Breznik is a Colorado grower. If so, he had some weights up there also, and we are going to try a few of his seeds for next year.

The only grower I know of with the name Breznick is in VT. I traded seeds with him many years ago...JK
