I believe lack of Hybrid vigour is what is holding back squash. Try to find a pollinator as distantly realted as possible

Not the 535 Wolf (not because it is a bad seed)...
I crossed mine with the 535 Wolf which has no 900 in it for this reason. If you want some seeds you are welcome to them, try something again unrelated.
The 824 is a great suggestion.

I have been in this hobby for 10 years now and done a squash or two. Could someone please give me some examples of hybred vigor success when crossing squash with no common backgrounds please........
