I've got a pear shaped fruit on the 1028 and a lumpy mess on the 857. Neither one has enough size to brag about. 857 has a tendancy to flat vine and everything on the 1028 wants to be pear shaped or abort. That plant does not like the heat.

I have a greenie on the 1310 pitura that I like pretty well. I am concerned the growth rates are to slow, but I would blame that on the record cold July and the poor weather. Maybe we will get some extra days growth. Its on pace for about 700 pounds.....MAYBE

Squash are slow-slow-slow here...green and shiney for now, soon to turn rough and cantelouped if it works out as I expect. Just a few genetics plants so nothing big here in the yard...hoping for 400lbs or so. As usual in my yard fusarium is alive and well and between the small plants, relatively poor care, really terrible weather, and no patch prep in 4 years I had issues with setting fruit and aborts. But>>>>>its green and it's mine.

We have a couple on track for 1k, but it all depends on the late summer & fall weather. The third squash looks like it will come in around 7-800 lbs. No WR's here this year unless we get much better than expected gains over the next 2-3 weeks.

I'd like to say but he wish's to remain in the shadow's in case she goes down. he's at 381"ott and still getting an 1" each day and he's being conservetive. he should be at least 393"ott by the end and she looks good and heavey. he'd say less though.

Ahh...i've seen bigger. Tape shrunk in the cold weather. got a couple 'fat' ribs that's giving pretty good numbers if measured just right;)
