Pumpkin Picker (Orange Only)

Hello,

I am looking to acquire one or two 792 Olsen* 05 squash seeds. I plan on growing this plant this coming season.

If you have one or two to trade either post here or email me, I have all kinds of interesting things to trade.

Thanks

Tom Beachy is sold out of them.

The germ on this seed is very poor. I tried quite a few last spring and couldn't get any to start. If you are trading for them, keep this in mind!

Thank you Countykid for this information!

Thank you Bart!

I have found 2, I am still on the hunt for 1 or 2 more due to the low germination rates. If anybody has the 792* that they don't plan on growing let me know!

I read on an old post that 400 or so were sent out to growers and I have not seen many offspring from the 792* So they have to be out there somewhere...

Thank you

If you get one to start, be sure to let me know. I any want seeds from the offspring or potentially a clone! Might have to drive down to PA

In 2008 I planted two 792 Olsen's from Beachy seeds and they both came up. If they truely are hard to germ in ideal germination set up I would try the advanced seed starting method and get rid of that shell.

CountyKid, If I get one going I will let you know, infact if you are serious about the clone I am sure we can make something happen!

Springwater, That is great information. How were your results with the 792s? Can you post some pics of offspring?

Thank you.
