Yep, its me. I was seeing if anyone is growing any of the new line of Hester Squash? 1029, 885, 750 or 729?
My long winters nap is over.

I was hoping to grow the new Oregon record 1029, but didnt recieve any SQ with my club seeds? I was lucky enough to score the 1236 Vincent/Magill at the spring seminar. I know there is still time for a bubble & you are always very generous, but im looking at 300plus Squash seeds begging to be planted? I selected the 729 "09" & julies 750 "09" for germination, but nothing is certain until they are planted in the ground! If they germinate someone will grow it! no plant gets left behind. Both 750 & 729 are the same cross= 848 sibbed, but my packet from julies 750 has an added note of *Very aggressive in germ trials. The seed is also HUGE! & I find myself asking that old question of does size really matter? DBH

Palm Chicken, I can get you a 1029, heck I'll start one for you. Will you be at the meeting on May 1st? Jim, yours is already in the incubator....

Brett: Im planning on being there for May 1st. But the 750 is doing great in germination trials.
