First thanks to B. Hester, C. Jacobus, Jagger, and W. Horton for sending me great squash seed! Sadly, wind took out both my primary and backup plantings. I have but a Jacobus left alive, but it took a beating and it's 12 leaves are smaler then a cucumber. From the other starts, Jacobus is most agressive, certainly wants to survive, so I don't known, just saddens me -- would be my only chance for green. So my humble appoligies for letting you down!

Now I had strarted a Horton pumpkin for another patch -- it's now in mine, so will have kins. but I did want to go all green this year. Thankfully, you all sent me plenty so I can try again next year! Once again both thanks and my appoligies.

Actually the jacobus is still growing and now starting to look like a squash plant (vice cucumber). It's way Late but I'm still hopefull!
