I had a decent seed count from my * 834.5 I posted a photo of it in my diary. It was grown on the *1177 Haist, had a good shape and was crossed with the *895 Hester. The cross should darken up the * 1177's color in the offspring. Well thats the hopes anyway. The 834.5 was 15 percent heavy !
If anyone is interested in going Green this year and want to give it a try you are welcome to some seed. My address is 664 Grove Street; Honesdale, PA 18431.

I used pollen from Andy, Dyberry Patch's *895 Quinn. He had a hard time getting one to pollinate on the main and since it was in his secondary patch it didn't get a lot of attention. It was a good plant and he let one go on the main and I believe 2 additional ones on secondaries. All the fruit had the traditional deep green. One was weighed at the Monster Madness site and came in at 595 pounds and another weighed at the PGPGA at 533 pounds.. not sure what happened to the 3rd fruit. There are pictures of the 2 *895's in my diary.
