I have one pumpkin and one squash in the same patch (same exact dirt). the pumpkin plant, dark green leaves, looks great. squash plant- light green leaves, low on N from tissue test, hammer it with N, still light green. do squash use more nitrogen, or is this just a plant vs. plant difference?

... but at least the actual squash fruit is a nice dark dark green, darker than the leaves.... so at least I got that going for me... which is nice!

Darkside, it could be a deficiency in iron. Check your soil test to see if you are low on any micronutrients. Then maybe do a google search to look up the symptoms of that deficiency.
