In the movie Forest Starts running he stops & says"I came this far I might as well keep going" Then he runs to the Ocean.lol Well WWGG has 3 top prizes of 1000$.PumpKin/Bubba/Watermelon. "I might as well keep going"lol

So if you guys are with me then lets do it!Last year 14 members joined.If that doubles to 28 members I will make the 1st place Squash prize 1000$ for 2014."Thats all I got to say about that" Well other then Please Join us!

Or you could just add $100.00 to each of the 10 places and that way it would draw more growers to grow.So from 6th to 10th would get $150.00 instead of $50.00.I know I've been to weigh-offs and heard it time and time again, why is first place so darn high? Why don't they spread the winnings more evenly so the little guy has more of a chance......

Ive heard that also said,but just as many times Ive heard guys say The winner put the most into it,time,effort etc..Its a 500$ increase so that would raise each class 50$ a pc.I dont think that would get as much attention as a 1000$ prize. The guys that win arent lucky they put a lot into it.I will consider this. if you get 10 guys that say they will join if the money is spread more even I will take a group vote in that class (veggie)majority rules we are member driven.I will then change the purse for that class only.

My plan is to add to the 2 thru 10 places if enough people join up.Time will tell.I will add to 2nd & 3rd first.Then 4th thru 10th.
I think the 10th place guy getting 200$ in product is a pretty good thing.

were at 16 members now in 2014 Squash class. 12 more & the 500$ 1st prize increases to 1,000.00.Then if the 28 members want to vote on a spreading the money more towards the bottom.I am good with that. WWGG is member driven.
