Well, Gene's 323 LaRiviere 13 was a smooth dark green squash http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=208310
and it grew me a nice smooth dark green squash http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=230185
My 418 (323 LaRiviere x self) was a back-up squash on a side vine. The bigger main vine squash is still going.

My * 530 that I weighed at Ridgefield was a dark green and very smooth with a nice low and wide shape. It was grown on an old school seed the * 824 Brunst (05). It did go light but I am hoping the cross with the *996 Haist will pack some pounds on it. I need to update my diary soon and will post some pics. I haven't cut it open yet so I am hoping there are plenty of seeds. I plan to give it a try next year.

I would really like to try your seed. If you guys have a seed or two you can spare I would be very grateful.
