I guess I never followed through with my squash dream in the 90s.So I think this year I will make my 9th plant a Squash.I will be growing 8 kins 1 squash & 2 long gourds.Nothing Else other then 80 feet of sunflowers as a privacy fence.Russ Pugh has a great idea to have a Kin/Squash award Maybe we will call it the SQUINN award.lol Heaviest combined weight of both of these great fruits.Taking a survey how many folks would be in on this??35$ entry fee with maybe just 1 award at first year out?? hay Mark, Gen an I are in with our home patch.
Also South Shore Great Pumpkin challenge is looking at a short fall of Giant Squash seeds for our seedling giveaway. If anyone has giant squash seeds they are willing to donate please email me. We are 120 short of our goal.
