I grew a nice 500 pounder off this seed. It was a beautiful deep green, 12% heavy, not bad for my first attempt. An interesting thing happened. I gave it to a local grocer for display and the longer it sat out, the color started to gradually change. By today when I harvested the seeds it was a brownish-green with some faint orange. It was solid and with no rotten areas. Is it usual for squash to slowly change colors after harvest?
