The short answer... it should only grow squash (assuming no stray pollen from a pumpkin).

Yes, 1844.5* should throw all green based on the understanding of how the green gene works. (I won't say 100% chance, but it's fair to say that the odds are as good or better than any other green seed you'd come across.)

I included multiple seeds in the 1844.5* packs because I was concerned about germination, so I'd suggest anyone with an 1844.5* pack try to germinate all the seeds that they received to maximize the chance of getting one to pop.
