Two times selfed 996 (Daho, Klages) and my three times sibbed selfed 1385.5 will be crossed wild this season. I will seed 20 plants of each close together on the field, and all fruits shall grow. I do not fertilize for weight. Just for best seed of pure squash, pure pumpkin and both side crosses this try will be done. But a few flowers of 996 and 1385.5 want to pollinate with Cucurbita ficifolia. In 2018 I will cross the new squash-pumpkin crosses with the fig-leaved gourd too for medicinal pumpkins to fight my bone marrow cancer Multiple Myeloma with Cucurbitacine B from giant cotyledons, when they are just three days old.
