So I've acquired several Green Squash seeds and only have room to plant one of them. I know nothing about squash genetics other than just because your seed came from a green squash doesn't mean the offspring will be green. Really hoping to just self one of these seeds. Which one(s) give me the best chance for a Big Greenie? Thanks all.

1175* Holub 2013
1194.5* Holub 2014
692.5 Brunst 2004 (seed packet says true green squash)
1362.5* Pugh 2014
961* Haist 2015
1172.5* Haist 2015
1511.5* Haist 2016
1052 Jutras 2015
1445.5 Jutras 2015 dmg
1407 Jutras 2016 dmg
1401 Jutras 2016

I grew a 692.5 Brunst, it was dark green...I have started 1362.5 Pugh but cucumber beetles had a convention in my garden and it never got completed. On the 1362.5 I got many 6 seg blossoms, It is the one I would go with for sure.

For the best chance for a Big Greenie I'd go with the 1445.5. It's proven it can go 1400+ with great color. Second choice would be 1511.5.

The 1362.5 Pugh* grew my 995 Pugh* this past year. It grew Bubba's 997* last year. They both were a very deep, dark green. Beautiful squash! Second generation of 996 Haist* x self, so it is "purified" 996 Haist* genetics--just about as good as it gets!

The 1175 Holub grew the 1421.5 Jutras as well s the 1195 Holub which was a real beauty. In all, it grew four over 1000 pounds.
