I would want to grow this seed even if it was from a 600 pound squash. Really nice color and shape!

It's a huge beauty that's for sure, if there was a Howard dill award for squash, the a would have won it! If only mine was that big! Actually, I'd settle for half that size...

1109 Jutras is the seed squash growers have been waiting for. A true, and I mean true dark green squash that can grow to record sizes. I don't see any squampkin in the tobeck fruit or the skinner fruit. It makes me want to grow a squash.

That picture makes it look darker than it really was in person, it was still a nice green though. I will definitely be growing the 1109 next year, might even put it up against the 2164 and pick the best one

Thanks Big Moon! The 2164 was kept under a white sheet right up until the day we took it to the weigh-off. The picture was taken after the 2164 was sitting in the direct sunlight for several days. It will be there in front of the Barnesville Library till Monday if you would like to see it in person now Jeff.

That explains why it looks darker than at the weigh off. I'll be that way Saturday, I'll probably stop in. I love seeing them after they been in the sun for a while. They darken up nicely.
