Does anyone admit to it? And is it frowned on by others? Ive been told our club doesnt allow it! If it wasnt my only enntry id like to oil everything but one rib! to show color channnge?????????/

I have done my share of oiling in the past. Did get a new rule added because of me. I have actualy oiled some pumpkins after weighoff, had a reasonable color change on some fruit set out to decorate. I don't recomend oiling the squash, it turns them too dark for my taste.
