Is anyone else getting it? After having -51 wind chills and a foot of snow, we've now got plus 18 degree weather and absolutely no snow left. The ground is barely frozen and my snapdragons are still growing. Kids at school are showing up in shorts. I feel sorry for all you easterners going through the winter storms, but I just had to point out our great weather. Alan

It feels so nice to be able to walk out your door, and not feel pain due to windchill. I'm sure the nasty weather will return eventually, but I'll enjoy this warm stuff while it's here.

I can't wait!!! This year I am having a fresh new start and actually growing them the proper way. I love winter though and want to set some good memories with my friends since this is my last year of high school. I love Snowmobiling, Tobogoning, and Pond hockey or hockey in general, so bring on the cold. Still need a lot of questions answered and ideas for next growing season. Have a safe and fun winter peoples!

I was out in the back yard today digging around in the soil. It's about 12 degrees, and has been for about a week and a half. The rain finally stopped falling and I couldn't resist getting outside. How many more days until planting?
