Our 1st ever patch tour will take place on Aug 13th and will feature the Western Region. Russ Landry (Big Kahuna) is organizing the event. He will have the details and directions posted here on BP and on our website (www.gvgo.ca). We hope that you can make it and look forward to meeting everyone. If your interested in checking out the gardens of some growers who have reached the 1000# plateau, email Russ or myself. Take care and good luck everyone.

Welcome to all from the Western Region of the GVGO.

The patch tour will include visits to the patches of
long time grower, and Port Elgin Champion, Adrian Gervais Also scheduled stops at two local 1,000 pound growers Frank catapano & Daryl Leonard(Huronia Nurseries). Other stops may include views of Russ Landry's, Roy Lee(cornerstone Landscaping) and Ralph Giffens patches. One bonus side trip may be added to the grower of the largest local fruit with the most interesting new patch on August the 11th.

The tour will begin in the northern part of Toronto and wind its way northward to Cottage country. Accommodations in Toronto on Friday and Barrie on Saturday will follow soon in the next announcement.
