Just a reminder that the GVGO will be hosting it's 1st Grower's Seminar on Sunday, April 9, 2006, at the Lindsay Inn, Lindsay Ontario. Starting time is 9 am. The seminar, lunch & refreshments are free to all GVGO members. There will be a beginners session @ 1pm for new growers & there will be free seeds to all new growers. Guest speaker is Ann Vehallen, soil & crop specialist for the Ministry of Agriculture. We'll also be handing out our awards to the GVGO top growers, Round table (Heavy Hitter) Q&A period with Al Eaton, Arnold Vader, & Chris Lyons & more. We hope you can join us for a fun-filled day talking pumpkins & other giant vegetables.
