I'm looking for places to buy imidacloprid products, and all I can find on Google when I search for stuff like merit is articles about its usage regulation in Canada. Anyone here know where to purchase it in Canada?

If you have a Loews (' ?) equivalent in Ontario - I was looking into it for you and I didn't have time, but it seems Lowes is selling off to 'RONA' so, try researching that and there were a lot of locations, such as in Kingston? I went Google - Imidacloprid in Canada or Bio-Advanced Canada for instance---eric g

This is the product I use and would have no other - one tablespoon per gallon H2O on good-sized seedlings that may already have an infestation of cucumber beetles and/or squash bugs (NO, do NOT squash them) because that causes me alarm, but I may apply it this year earlier than that - once they are each outgrowing a 8' X 8' GH; It is SYSTEMIC and kills honeybees and anything that eats or licks (well, don't push it) your plants, in a nasty way, so I do not use a granular, soil-based variety. It (diluted liquid) stays in the plant for long enough for the plant to outgrow the problem. We hit the bad guys butt a lot of good ones, too.

This is JUST an example to show what I use - you may want a different composition, such as granular to till in, but last year people were buying 'Tree and Shrub', lol, and then asking 'what do I do now?' which can be searched on this website; I'd be a lot more pleasant, but I'm not on my fast computer and they don't display the INGREDIENTS on the front labels - (Gee, I wonder why). Good Luck---eg

Do NOT use this particular product! I have the 32 oz. one form about 2 years ago and THIS 40 oz. in the details below says it has a herbicide in it. OMG...so annoying - eric out

Yes, there are Ronas, but they don't seem to sell much real insecticide. Searching for "insecticide" gets results like bug spray, and insecticidal soap. Nothing potent.

Try Amazon.com not Amazon.ca and find a vendor willing to ship to Canada.

You can not import any pesticides into Canada legally. Trudeau stopped that in 2017. I got a very firm letter threatening me with jail time when I tried. It was on official government of Canada letterhead.
