That State Up North

Thanks to Ken at bigpumpkins.com for supporting this auction, and thanks to everyone who has given me seeds over the years that wound up in this auction. This auction has a two-fold purpose for me. I found myself presented with two problems. First there is a talented group of students who are passionate about agriculture who don't have the money to continue their education. Second, I have more good seeds than I have the time or money to plant and take care of. I hope that this auction provides some world class seeds that I suspect will go for bargain prices, and allow some newer growers and chance at some top quality seeds. I also hope that this auction will allow a few young (junior high to high school) age farmers to explore their career path and have a great education this winter.

All seeds in the auction were given to me direct by growers or from clubs. I will also be adding bonus seeds to every lot to get some more seeds out of my stash and into more growers hands with the hope that some of them are planted

If you are passionate about training young organic farmers and want to donate seeds for the auction, send me an email, but I am not expecting anything given that this is not an auction supporting the main focus of the giant pumpkin hobby.
