Not at all. It takes 2 days for most brewers.

There is really much more to know than can be written into a single post. Keep in mind that some brewers produce AEROBIC Compost Tea & others are less aerobic so they generally produce a bacterial tea. Aerobic teas run more FUNGAL in nature.

The best bet is to produce tea that has DIVERSITY. The other option is to brew aerobic teas that are high in fungal mass but then add a packaged bacterial inoculant right before spraying.

The best brewers use an air BLOWER rather than a cheesy aquarium pump. Aquarium air pumps & stones don't deliver the necessary DISSOLVED OXYGEN saturation needed to produce the best ACT.

The most common rate is to apply one half gallon per 1000 sq ft or 22 gallons per acre.

KIS seems to be making the best unit right now. They sell a decent 5 gallon brewer that produces known quality Aerobic Tea if you use their compost. Home grown compost is probably better but you need to get a good pile going first.

Alaska Humus also makes outstanding ACT. Many people have different opinions about what should go into a brewer but no one ever brewed a bad patch using Alaska Humus unless they added something bad themselves.

Peter Sachs, North Country Organics website has some simple brewing instructions.
