In my opinion (oh boy here we go!) our teas are to polluted for the thing to work right.

What's the cfm's? How small are the bubbles? If they're too small they can actually damage the microbes.

I've been reading a lot on compost tea making. One thing you need is to have big bubbles. Not small or tiny ones.

How do you make big bubbles...no aeration stone, just open tubing??? Peace, Wayne

Actually, if the holes are too large you won't get good dissolved oxygen levels and much of the air becomes inaccessible. Too small and you tear up the fungi. Here's a good starting place...

Just click on compost tea!

The reason we use that size holes in our brewer is because we found it to be the most effective through lab testing. We also have a coil design so there are no dead spots in the tea that could potentially turn anaerobic during the course of the brew.
