            | daisyjo | Greenwood Village, Co | Tad12 - how does altitude factor into the DO2? ....say i live @ 5480ft.
would any adjustments need to be made to your KIS (5) gallon brewer?

 like the motor/pump size?

 or the amount of food?

wouldn't temperature @ higher altitude factor into the end results as well? (higher temps - less oxygen in the air)

would sufficient oxygen dissolve into the tea using your KIS (5) gallon brewer "as is"? (using supplied motor/pump?)

            | WiZZy | Little-TON - Colorado | A Longer brewing period may be needed, I brew mine 14-16 hours..... | 5/6/2008 10:24:18 AM |

            | Tad12 | Seattle, WA | I agree, you would want to brew a little longer. If you are using a food source other than the one provided, then you would also want to cut back on your foods. Which system do you have? The 12 hour or 24 hour system?

            | Tad12 | Seattle, WA | Then I would agree with the Wiz. Best solution would be to check the tea under a microscope or send off a test to the lab to make sure. I feel reasonably confident that you should be okay though.
