Requesting input on the purchase of a brewer. I lack the time to go the homemade route. Suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

What size are you looking for? Most people can get by with just a 5 gallon unit, as that will cover a 1/4 acre for a soil drench and 1 acre for foliar applications up to 5 ft. in height.
Check out this website for more info. from Soil Food Web regarding compost tea brewers:
http://www.soilfoodweb.com/03_about_us/approach_pgs/c_03a_aerated_tea.html
Things to look for in a brewer:
1. Adequate data to support their system. You should be able to get lab tests that show the BIOLOGY that their brewer is able to produce.
2. How easy is it to clean and use? See if you can find someone who already has the brewer and can attest to how long it takes to clean.
3. Customer service and support. Are you going to be able to get product support and replacement parts/supplies in a reasonable manner?
Good luck and welcome to the world of compost tea!!!
