John, The soil soup nutrien, was really nothing more then molasses, kelp, urea, water. Cheaper to make your own brew.

There were some real neat other ingrediants in this stuff. My question is, is it still being made. My understanding is that the company went out of business, but was bought by another compant and started up again. We have a number of GVGO members that want to get this material if we can find it.

CountyKid,
Do you have a list of the ingredients? As far as I know they are out of business for good. You can use other ingredients in the machine. Personally, I'd use molasses and kelp, as the teas produced by these machines tend to be highly bacterial from the test results I've seen.

I/we recently had this communication from the soil soup people:
"We are just a few weeks away from having the SoilSoup Home Brewing Systems back in production. As in the past, we will offer a 6.5 gallon system and a 25 gallon system. We are in the process of updating our website with the home brewing info. It should be up in a week or so."
