            | Tad12 | Seattle, WA | Aquatic ecosystems has some motors they carry that would work.
 Here's what we use:
 Motor

 115 60hz. Vac amps = 3.0

 1/2 hp regenerative blower

 Life 14000 hours+CFM=14@1psi.

 1.25" inlet/outlet

            | Starrfarms | Pleasant Hill, Or | Here's the pump I use; http://www.greengoldhydro.com/product_info.php?products_id=925It's reasonably priced and more than adequate for our requirements.

            | CountyKid (PECPG) | Picton,ON ([email protected]) | I am using the same pump as Thad Starr, It works great, its just not water proof and must be kept inside or in a protective housing. Also, the vendor tells me that he can't get parts for it so when it breaks we will have to get a new one. I don't think this is an issue, what do you expect for $67. They take PayPal also. I know of two other growers using the same pump and are very happy.

            | UnkaDan | | going on my 3rd year using the same pump as Thad and John,,purchased from a different source back then for a few more $, but shows no sign of breaking down (did I just jinx it?)fittings available at the local hardware to make the connections at the pump and the hose end for the soaker hose i.e. "diffuser" | 1/2/2009 11:51:26 AM |

            | Tad12 | Seattle, WA | Rick,
We use an Ametek motor for our larger brewers that we get from Ametek directly. Other people have used Gast or Sweetwater pumps and these are known to work well. I don't have an item number, but you can match up the specs. I think I posted the specs on our 5 gal. unit a while back too.
