My plants are almost getting too big to do this now and I'm not sure it makes sense to do it but what would the risk of watering your plants only with compost tea? I've seen setups where growers inject compost tea into their watering system and that makes a lot of sense to me. I usually water my plants every other day as they need it and if the only water I gave them was the compost tea water would there be any risks or benefits of doing it this way? Anyone tried this? I usually hit the plants about once a week but I wanted see if there might be some potential benefits of doing it more.

I've been told that treat it just as a normal watering. The plant can be overwatered but not over tea'd. I put 3 gallons of tea in a 3 ft diameter around my plants( they are fairly small right now) 3 days ago and they seem to be doing great. I plan on doing this every 10 days in conjunction with normal watering.

AB, my first three ct brews were carried by watering can and drenched around the plants!!! From here on out (plants getting bigger), will prbly use spray form of some type...but saturate well, so that there is some runoff onto the soil!!! Peace, Wayne
