I see most pumps are rated in cfm. I have a homemade 5 gal. brewer w/ an aquarium 2 feed pump & I think it might be a little light on the air. (no specs) I recently saw an air pump at a hydroponics store w/ a rating of 45 liters per minute. Is this good enough for a 5 gal. brewer?

45 liters may work but may be a little slow depends on the end part which the air comes out----a tub with holes in it

air pump=see www.horticulturesource.com activeaqua commercial air pump ===110 lpm=liter per min.=3.887 cu. ft./min. model eco-5066 i have this pump and it works very well TUB== a 2ft. peace of 1/2 inch conduit pluged at one end and a hose at the other end pushing air.....drill 1/16 holes on both sides about 2 inches apart also i added a in line air adjustment valve to control the air...more air, less air a simple water shot off valve.
